Supplier Quality Manager

Combustion Motors (diesel and gas), Common Rail System.


  • Management of development projects for quality planning of parts purchases.

  • Support in determining quality aspects prior to production start-up for the following departments: Project Management, Testing, Construction and Purchasing.

  • Conducting audits (product and process) at suppliers to capture component quality;

  • Support of assembly activities from a quality perspective during the start-up phases of new product generations.

  • Implement measures in agreement with production departments and suppliers.

  • Support of the teams responsible for checking the acceptance of parts during initial reviews as well as in case of complaints.


Activities related to the various "Common Rail System" projects:


  • Coordination of the quality of the suppliers of the "Common Rail System" project.

  • Active participation in the FMEA design meetings.

  • Elaboration of supplier qualification plans.


Within the Strategic Purchasing Department:


  • Coordination of the quality management plans of the development components for the CRS zone.

  • Respect of Q-Gates (Quality Gates) - Follow-up of 8Ds (Reports and action plans before and after SOPs - Start Of Production)

  • Support and validation of PPAP samples (Production Part Approval Process).

  • Quality assurance during the development phase as well as during serial production.

  • Participation in project discussions and early detection of possible problems - Support to serial production and interface with suppliers (internal quality).

Crankshafts Machining

 

  • Team management of 20 people and assisted by 2 sector managers (quality incoming inspection quality, internal and customers) in relation with the Technical Manager.

  • Internal and product-process quality: Coordination of quality in production (8D and six sigma reports), statistics and technical expertise, audits, management and follow-up of customer complaints.

  • Measurements/Laboratory: Control of product reception, technical/metallurgical references and heat treatments.

  • Verification of dimensions and gauges, definition and management of control and measurement activities, development of new control processes (ultrasound).

  • Quality assurance: Improvement and adaptation of the quality system to the ISO TS 16949 standard and monitoring of quality management reports and indicators.
